Dear oil train activist,

It’s your turn to speak out.

Benicia’s City Council is about to decide the fate of Davis area residents living in the blast zone.

Sign up NOW and GET ON THE BUS to the Benicia City Council hearing on April 4th.

Valero is proposing a crude oil train terminal at their refinery in Benicia. The terminal would bring trains hauling 2.5 million gallons of toxic, explosive crude oil rolling through Davis every day.

In early February, the Benicia Planning Commission voted to unanimously deny Valero’s dangerous oil trains plan. But, Valero appealed to the City Council and is now attempting to get the crude oil train plan approved at that level instead.

On April 4th, the Benicia City Council will begin hear publicing comment on the Valero plan. We know Valero is putting lots of pressure on the City Council to approve the project — that’s why we need to make sure city public officials know that Davis residents are watching. You do not need to testify.  Your presence is enough.

Get on the bus to Benicia and stop this dangerous project once and for all.
